Location and Facilities

Situated amongst leafy surrounds, Lutheran School Wagga Wagga is located in Tatton, approximately 9 kilometres south of the Wagga CBD.

The surrounding suburbs are Tatton and Springvale to the south, Kooringal and Central Wagga to the north, Lake Albert to the east and Bourkelands, Lloyd and Glenfield Park to the west.

Sport

LSWW has a wide range of sporting opportunities for a wide range of sports including:

  • access to development officers who regularly engage students in sporting clinics
  • Red Ball Tennis – intensive program for students K-6
  • large oval maintained in exceptional condition with soccer and AFL goals
  • a full sized multipurpose court and a half court (as part of our new 3-6 playground/ climbing wall)
  • intensive swim program K-2 and swim safety Years 3 and 5
  • gymnastics program for Years 2, 4 and 6 at external venue
  • purpose built K-2 and 3-6 age appropriate playgrounds
  • Perceptual Motor Program for Kindergarten and Year 1 students
  • undercover and inside spaces to conduct PE lessons in inclement weather

Library

LSWW has a wonderfully large modern Learning Centre that allows for two classes to work together using our new LCD television screen that enables screen sharing capabilities. 

Our vision is to further develop this space into an ‘Innovation Station’.

MULTIPURPOSE SPACE

LSWW has a multipurpose space that is used for school performances, our Chapel area, assemblies and whole school events.

Specialist Rooms and Breakout Spaces

LSWW has specialist rooms and breakout spaces that are used for the teaching of Music, Reading Intervention and a variety of enrichment activities.
